Hey ya'll, surprise. Just a quick note to get me in the swing of things. We are such creatures of habit, and I totally lost it on this one. I am writing to observe, however, what I have just noticed.

I just came home from a vacation stay with my daughter in Virginia. Every morning I was up at 4:00 or 5:00, made the bed, brushed my teeth；made the coffee, unloaded the the dishwasher, picked up last nights clutter, let the dog out；open the blinds, turned on the fireplace, spray down the furniture (Im a bit of a Febreeze addict, orLysol, whatever is handy). Sit down, enjoy coffee while catching up on emails, texts, and YouTubes.

Yesterday I arrived home and relaxed. Today I plan to relax, so I got up, made the bedn (makes the room look happier), and brushed my teeth. Fed the dog+cat on the way to the kitchen.Opened the blinds while my coffee was brewing, and picked up last nights clutter. Grabbed the coffee, put away the few dishes my husband had washed, spritzed the couches on the way to my tablet, and powered it up.  Serious
I have been called, and freely admit, I tend toward a little OCD. But is this just a regular routine, or  what?

Anyhow, if it gets me back to posting regularly, it will be the vehicle I use!  In additio

Hope everyone is getting off on a great start.  Although I call them "goals" not "resolutions," one of my goals is to post more frequently and build a good group to exchange information and ideas with.  Hope you will contribute soon.  More to come!  Currently I'm trying to tidy up the craft room, ha ha, and find a way to make Project Life work for me this year. Hey ya'll....just a quick check in.  Recovering from surgery pretty well.  Grandbaby is here visiting, YEAH!  Too bad I can't pick her up <frown>.  Will have some things to post later today, I've worked on several cards and a Memorial Day project for work I'd like to share.  Keep on scrappin'!

Can't spend my IRS refund.....yet!

Yeah, tax refund!  However, I have to work all weekend, so I won't get to spend any of it.  And Michael's has a 20% off entire purchase, bummer  :o(   I did a few cards last week, on the fly.  I was out and about, and heard of someone who needed a sympathy card, and then another.  I had my Memorial Day supplies with me, so I had a few stickers that were appropriate, and I had to build from there.  No embellishments available, so they were quick and simple, but came out quite nice.  Sometimes simple is better.

After-tax Day! (U.S.)  Well my procrastinating carried over into my tax preparation, which I have to say doesn't usually happen.  So I finished about 10pm and zipped those suckers off electronically.  I had worked on a few cards over the weekend, and this is what I came up with.  I wanted so badly to work with the StampsofLife umbrella stamp (and I did), but I wasn't happy with all the fussy cutting.  I hope they come out with a matching die!

Taxes are done (U.S.)!  I procrastinated until the last minute, got those suckers off electronically yesterday.  Now the wait.  However, I had time on my hands (laughingly) this weekend, and zipped off a few cards.  I intended many more with the StampsOfLife umbrella theme, but I'm not big on fussy cutting, perhaps Stephanie will create a coordinating die.  My goal was to develop a whole selection of "April showers bring May flowers" types, this is what I have so far.  If anyone knows of a great umbrella die please clue me in  :o).
