Hey everyone.  Got a few new cards for you to see, ranging from sympathy to get well to July 4th.  Doing well with the surgery, thanks to all friends for good thoughts and wishes.  Hope to post more later!

Hey ya'll....just a quick check in.  Recovering from surgery pretty well.  Grandbaby is here visiting, YEAH!  Too bad I can't pick her up <frown>.  Will have some things to post later today, I've worked on several cards and a Memorial Day project for work I'd like to share.  Keep on scrappin'!

Can't spend my IRS refund.....yet!

Yeah, tax refund!  However, I have to work all weekend, so I won't get to spend any of it.  And Michael's has a 20% off entire purchase, bummer  :o(   I did a few cards last week, on the fly.  I was out and about, and heard of someone who needed a sympathy card, and then another.  I had my Memorial Day supplies with me, so I had a few stickers that were appropriate, and I had to build from there.  No embellishments available, so they were quick and simple, but came out quite nice.  Sometimes simple is better.

After-tax Day! (U.S.)  Well my procrastinating carried over into my tax preparation, which I have to say doesn't usually happen.  So I finished about 10pm and zipped those suckers off electronically.  I had worked on a few cards over the weekend, and this is what I came up with.  I wanted so badly to work with the StampsofLife umbrella stamp (and I did), but I wasn't happy with all the fussy cutting.  I hope they come out with a matching die!

Taxes are done (U.S.)!  I procrastinated until the last minute, got those suckers off electronically yesterday.  Now the wait.  However, I had time on my hands (laughingly) this weekend, and zipped off a few cards.  I intended many more with the StampsOfLife umbrella theme, but I'm not big on fussy cutting, perhaps Stephanie will create a coordinating die.  My goal was to develop a whole selection of "April showers bring May flowers" types, this is what I have so far.  If anyone knows of a great umbrella die please clue me in  :o).

Following each is a finished inside, something I've scraplifted from Tracy @TracysTreasures24  :o)  I usually leave blank, and force myself to write something cute and appropriate, but it looks nice with some deco as well.  Have a great day!

Ta Da!  I finally uploaded an almost-video.  A powerpoint slideshow, at least.  My tablet just is not cooperating with the video, the webcam is being hoarded by son, so I am determined to make it work.  In the meantime I tried my hand at the slideshow.  I used to be a powerpoint certified expert, believe it or not, but that was practically back in the DOS days (wow, dark ages, huh?).  I'm usually a perfectionist, so I'll just say this.  I try to satisfy everyone, and some people are always looking for mistakes.....lol.  So there.  I presented this to my mom for her birthday, and she absolutely loved it.  Matter of fact, she is scheming ways for us to make money off of these, who knows, in the future I may have an Etsy.  Have a great Easter Weekend!  [excuse the "evaluation copy" logo, trying a new software] {quality is better on the YouTube channel NonnieScrap}

Easter Cards!  Low key cards, I've also been working on a few other projects, so these are minimally embellished.  I think they came out nice, and will be easy to mail!  Sorry the lighting was bad, not sure what was wrong with the flash.  Rainy morning, about to put a roast on.  Not much else going on here.....Have a blessed day...

Happy mail to TracysTreasures24

Help!  Trying desperately to figure out how to make a video, edit it, and transfer from my tablet to laptop.  B/c, when I do you can finally see some of my work "live."  Alas, even though I am rather technically literate, the droids vs the pc etc etc etc has me stumped for the moment.  Hope I don't have to call tech support, that's like surrendering!  Lol  Hope to see you back here soon with the goods, stay tuned, Ang

Hey ya'll, back home again after my little trip to Illinois.  Stayed a little longer than intended, sad to go but ready to be home as well.  However, horror of horrors, very limited internet access while I was there!  Lol, even though I thought I prepared by upgrading my cell to be a portable "hot spot," the signal from T-mobile was still very weak and slow.   SO, No YouTube, No blogging, No Netflix, No movies, No Facebook.....OUCH.  Probably did me good.  I am so excited to have looked through photos of my grandmother's and great-grandmother's, and will post some soon.  I have so many ideas for vintage albums, I'll have to get started ASAP.  Wonderful visit, TTYL!

Hey ya'll, goin out of town to meet up with my grandma and my grandchild, how awesome is that?  We were trying for a 5 gen picture, but just couldn't work out all the details.  I think I'll take a few cardmaking supplies, get some Easter cards done.  See ya soon!

Busy week, getting ready to go out of town, plus I have a couple of VIP birthdays this month.  Started working on cards but decided I'll move on to a little more challenging projects for them.  So here's a few cuties that I'll be sending to others.  Hope you like them.  Sent a little RAK to TracysTreasures24, can't wait for her to get it!  Lots of love.......Angie

Hey ya'll,

I'll have some new cards to post soon, St. Patrick's day and some cute birthday cards.  Just wanted to send a high-5 out to The Stamps of Life (see link @side.)  I've been a club member of theirs for several months, and love using their stamps on my cards.  Check out their gallery for super-cute ideas.  IN ADDITION, their Customer Service is also VERY outstanding.  I've had occasion to contact them twice, both times they answered quickly and went above-and-beyond to resolve the requests with no flack, no hassles, and genuine sincerity.  Check them out, I think you'll be very happy....!    I know I am.   Have a great day  :o)

Got a couple of things done this week, a card for my dad (pretty sure he doesn't follow blog), and some cute little Valentine's cards for coworkers.  I did a variety of little 3x3 cards, and attached a candy inside.  They came out sweet!   LOL  xxoo

Hey ya'll, how's every little thing?  Missed ya, been sick, working, etc. etc. etc.  Trying to get Valentine's done, will post those shortly.  Here is a birthday card I made for my BFF back in January, I couldn't post so she wouldn't see it! (Hi Kelly, Love ya!).   It is a chipboard magnetic card I ordered from Scrapbucks.com that I covered with papers and embellished.  I stepped out to do a color combination I normally wouldn't grab for, kind of hard to tell but its oranges, lime greens and purples.  I had an idea in mind of different things I'd like to say to her if I wasn't @her side, and these are some of the upwards thoughts I came up with.  I printed them on the colored paper, inked around most edges, and glued them in different patterns.  She really liked the card, keeps telling me I should sell these things!  Naw, its too much fun just to create   :o)    Enjoy...

Half over?!  How can it be that half of January is gone already?  The year just started and I already feel behind, yuck!  The time flew by as my daughter and granddaughter were visiting from Virginia.  Sooooooo adorable!  I was sick when they got here, recovered temporarily, and sick as they left.  In between I worked, but only touched the scrap room once.  Couldn't believe it.  Kate is a scapbooker w/Cricut, so I got her several cartridges for Christmas and birthday, hope she likes them and will get use out of them.  I'm still in love with my Silhouette SD, hoping to upgrade to Cameo this year, but will have to schedule some OT for that one.  A few lingering decorations still, guess I should resolve that today  :o(  Thinking ahead to Valentine's day, and son's birthday, so I'm motivated again to get going.

Challenge to self: I was working on my daughter's birthday card away from home, and challenged myself to see if I could use up ALL of  the scraps.  I started with 3 12x12 pieces of patterned paper, and laid them out, pieced them together, and got the following cards.   All I was left with in the end was a single 1.5"x2" piece of scrap.  I made all the fronts, and added them to bases and embelllished @home.  Pretty cool! (my cutting mat in background is hot pink, sorry for any confusion)

Happy Twenty-Twelve!  Hope everyone is off to a great start.  I've been away from the computer. was down and out with a nasty cold, then my daughter/granddaughter came in from Virginia, YEAH!  My son also came from  Dallas, so we celebrated some birthdays together as a family.   All 4 of my kids in town @same time is a super-duper blessing, so I had to enjoy the moment.  Also a hectic work week, but I've a few days off and mentally trying to plan my year.  Goodness, so many challenges out there, so many tips for scrapbooking, a whole year of pictures to look forward to.  Are you as overwhelmed as I?  I followed a few blogs to enter to win a Silhouette Cameo, the newest machine coming out.  Won't buy one yet, but I'm sure I'll end up with one eventually, maybe work a little overtime for that one.  Then I promised to will my SD to my daughter, LOL.  Have a wonderfully creative day!
